This last Sunday (Nov 29 20), we looked at different perspectives on the last words of Jesus.  It is finished.

From the religous leaders perspective:  He is finished.

From the disciples perspective:  I am finished.  Life is finished.

But in the upper story, Jesus says, "It is finished."  Meaning that the mission is completed.  The promise has been fulfilled.  From Genesis 3 all the way..the Exodus, the prophets, and more, all pointed to God declaring his love through his Son dying on a cross.  It is finished.

For us, our perspective means we can say, "Sin is finished.  Death is finished."  And the list can go on and on.

Despair.  Fear.  False Identity.

All finished! Or can be, if we respond to the work of the cross!

I wonder, is there something in your life that needs to be finished?  Comment below and let us know.  If we can help you on the journey, we will!
